Magic on the Wings of a Fairy Tale – The Enchantment of Imagination and Creativity
Welcome dear friends, to the world of me, Petronella Grahn! Today I want to open my heart and tell you how my passion for art and magic is combined with my fairytale walls, which I conjured up in the spirit of charity all over Finland. My magic is not just color and brushstrokes on the walls, but it is the key to the endless world of human imagination and creativity.
The magic of fairy tale paintings is great, and it is reflected everywhere they shine. The power of fairy tales and fairy tales lies in how they inspire us all to dream bigger and see the world in different ways. I want to give people the opportunity to step under the spell of fairy tales and experience the secrets of the magical world in their own way.
When I paint fairytale walls , I want to create places where people can immerse themselves in the world of their imagination and find inspiration and joy there. Walls are not just wall surfaces, but they are magical fabrics that tell a story and evoke emotions. I want to invite people to join me on this creative journey and give them the opportunity to feel the magical atmosphere.
The magic of the fairytale walls can also be seen in the comfort of the users. Walls with paintings that tell fairy tales are places where people can feel at home and be inspired. I want to create spaces where children can step into the world of fairy tales and the minds of adults can rest for a moment under the spell of magic.
Why a fairytale wall? Why a mural?
The effect of fairy tale paintings on increasing comfort is not just a coincidence. Fairy tales and stories are ancient ways of passing on knowledge, teachings and values from one generation to the next. They are an endless source of creativity and imagination that opens the gates to a thriving world. When magical paintings adorn the walls, they are not only a beautiful decoration but also a doorway to a world of imagination.
Imagination is like wings that carry us away from everyday routines and take us to unknown worlds. Fairy tale walls inspire us to create our own stories and thoughts, giving us the opportunity to step into the shoes of the protagonist or invent our own story. This kind of imagination training is extremely important, as it strengthens our creativity and helps us find new perspectives on life.
The world of fairy tales also teaches us important life skills. The characters in the stories face challenges and problems, and we can mirror our own experiences on their survival story. Reading fairy tales develops empathy and emotional intelligence, as the characters’ emotions evoke deeper feelings in us as well. At the same time, we learn to solve problems and see beyond difficulties.
Fairy tales and stories are a gift that is passed down from generation to generation. They are treasures that last from time to eternity. I want to contribute to the preservation and dissemination of these treasures.

There are four charity projects carried out in 2023: Hyvinkää Children’s Library, Pyhtää Children’s Library, Kihniö Secondary School and Sulkava Secondary School. In 2024, 6 new destinations will be built, the first two of which are already during the ski holidays: Vantaa Viertola School and Forssa Children’s Library and Story Room.
