I am a Finnish artist, author, illustrator and designer. For more than three decades I have built stories, characters, patterns and visual worlds that move across books, products, interiors, murals and new media.
Fairytale Design is the visual language. Pomenia is the storyworld. Books, illustration, patterns, products, exhibitions and murals are not separate directions — they are different ways for the same imagination to become visible.

More than one hundred original patterns have been created for fashion, textiles and interiors. Licensing can begin with a single design, a colourway or a broader visual collection built for a product category.
Pomenia brings together stories, characters, books, games, illustration and art. The same world can continue into narrative products, publishing, environments and audiovisual development.
