So yes. This Pomenian opening sentence was first written more than ten years ago. It’s been so long that I don’t even really remember how long… But I do remember and know that sometimes you have to run away to find your way back. This is what happened to me. All the cute fairy tale hatting, fairy and other wonderful Tinttu-com stuff, except for storybooks and art, had to be stopped for a while so that we could do something that we didn’t before.
Pomenia’s values are child-oriented!
Now that Tinttu-com is Pomenia, and the magic world trilogy has been lovingly winged into the human world, and also conjured up other magic on top of magic, it’s time to move forward with the plans made already in 2013. At first, of course, you might think that there is no troll’s tail in it either, because what was yesterday is no longer today. True, but I think a little differently. I believe that precisely because everything has changed, there is a need for more of what Pomenia is all about.
Twenty years ago, I wrote that all the creation and design of Design by Fairytale Artist Petronella Grahn is always child-centered.
This means that:
1) “Play jumps anywhere”. Let’s kick off creative fun play without toys. (Fairytale hats and clothes)
2) Let the child be an enthusiastic player who creates his or her own game without a ready-made script created by an adult. (Free play)
3) A child’s right to be a childish playing child just as long as they really are. (The right to be yourself)

9) By adventuring with an open mind, children and adults discover new sides and strength in themselves and others, beauty everywhere and in everyone. (Magic Powers)
10) Fall in love with the child within you. (Oops!)
While reading and thinking about these own value increases, I realized that I can’t find a single good reason why I wouldn’t continue where I left off with Tinttu-com in 2018. I feel that I am more prepared, more skilled and more confident than ever before. I don’t think about why anymore.
But what now, what not before?
Much. First, Tinttu-com’s hat classics will be brought back to life as Pomenia’s fairytale hats. There is no point in changing good and functional models, so we play with new materials and themes that have never been seen before. You won’t believe how wonderful it is until you see it! There will also be terribly new and desired things for ADULTS! How does the exhilaratingly fun Tintttu and Tarina tunic collections with play sound? Exhilarating, of course. Pomenia’s tunic collection is unique, and you probably didn’t know that every tunic comes with a 100% play guarantee. Yikes!!
The materials of the hats are teddy, coral-fleece and fleece. In tunics, the material is velor, which is even softer than soft. All products are manufactured in Finland.
Let’s take a big dive into interior design
Last spring, we signed a production contract with a large Finnish company related to interior design. My huge dream came true, as I have always wanted to bring play and the world of fairy tales to interior design in the form of beautiful personal fairy tales, colors and magic. “Like a storybook on the wall!”, I often say when I paint murals. Now the same and more can be done in a big, easy and affordable way without being an artist yourself. By combining fairy tale stickers and wallpaper, anyone can make magic anywhere. This, if anything, gets the imagination going, and makes the games fly. By the way, it’s unbelievable what can be done with paper, wood, glass and metal today. Printing and printing technology and cutting machines have developed enormously since the last ten years.
Pomenia Fairy Tale Interior 2023 will bring e.g.

- Decorative shape-cut wooden play backing plates
- Play and children’s room furniture collections with different themes (for homes and daycare centres)
