"Every small work of art is born from large and tiny stories of the magical world, magic and a touch of magic dust."
The secret of clay art
Let thoughts like “I don’t know” or “I don’t dare” come and go – and do exactly what you like and don’t imitate anyone else but what you come up with.
Can you guess this?
After every exhausting mural or big project, I reward myself by doing something that brings me nothing but joy – and yes, the joy of failure and success.
I have long since slipped into the secret world of ceramics, and fairy tale characters from the magical world of Pomenia have been born from clay.
(These characters can be found in Pomenia storybooks, visual arts and fabrics.)
By the way, it’s a completely different thing to draw than to sculpt.
Clay is unpredictable, messy, difficult and requires patience and appropriate dedication.
This process is always a leap into the unknown: when you start, you don’t really know how or what you’re doing – but at some point, you just figure it out and find the way. And therein lies the secret of the joy of doing.
First difficult – then cumbersome – and finally effortless.
It’s important to do things you don’t know how to do, that no one has asked for, and for which you don’t get paid anything at all.
It’s also important to do projects that have no certainty about anything other than the intention itself – and not always even how they will be done or what they will become.
Well, why then?
Because letting go of control and being a beginner is the best way to reset stress – and let the moment, and doing it, take you away. Don’t think about anything other than what you’re doing at that moment.
Adventure in clay, failures and successes, reminds us that the most important thing in life is curiosity and throwing oneself into the unknown – in spite of everything and everyone.

I made my first ceramics for my grandmother already in secondary school, but I didn’t really start until 2020 (Little Dragon). And from there it will continue for as long as I can and want to. No other goals. That’s why I don’t like to sell figures. Hih!
And isn’t that nice?
Pomenia’s story lives on – in clay, in pleasures and even in real life.
